Loki, on Disney+?

Anyone?

Wandavision was pretty good
Falcon and the Winter Soldier was very good
Loki is knocking it out of the park

All have made advancements in the Marvel Universe, enough so that not having seen them might interfere with some of the future movies.

Oh, the first person that says "I haven't owned a TV in 10 years" or "I don't understand why people pay for TV" gets head lice. Go find another thread of crap on ;)

I'd like to watch The Mandalorian but other than that, F the Maus Haus

Wandavision was a staggering disappointment.

NeveR finished falcon and winter soldier.

Still hoping Loki pulls of something in the final episode to make it all worthwhile.

No Disney+ for us.

One of my cousins was bragging how they "cut the cord" to cable TV to save money. Then they started adding streaming services. Now instead of one bill to keep up with, they have multiple channels and they are paying about as much as before, just no more shopping network, religion channels, or soap operas. They did not really save much, but they are in control of each package.

i honestly stalled on the Falcon and Winter soldier. i know how it is going to play out. feels fairly predictable. i'll finish it soon hopefully so i can move on to LOKI

I watch it, the last couple of episodes just made it good. Surprised Morphious got zapped so early. Good series.

I've watched all of those series and enjoyed them all. Just watched the latest episode from Loki last night. Only one more episode left.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on two of these.

WandaVision's first few episodes were so slow that I fell asleep during each of them. The conclusion of the story was a big letdown. Everything felt very contrived/forced.

Falcon and The Winter Soldier had its good moments, but overall was just average, I'd say.

But yes, Loki has (through episode 5), been excellent. It certainly doesn't hurt that it has, IMO, the best cast of the three.

I have enjoyed most of the Marvel Universe movies, and would be happy to watch other MU stuff, but I'm not going to subscribe to D+ to do that.

Hell, I've even enjoyed a lot of DC universe stuff.

Yep, if you aren't careful, that can happen. We have Netflix and one other streaming service, so I think we're about $21/mo which is still much, much less than we were paying and could be as much as 10% of what some folks are paying. This is good enough for us for now.

HobieMarty 07-08-2021 10:37 AM

Yep, it all adds up. We got rid of Netflix and Hulu because we were not watching much on those "channels" to justify the expense.

I’m trying to get the wife to go part time on our streaming services. Why pay for a full year when at best each has only about three months worth of good viewing? Amazon in the summer. Netflix and Disney when it’s cold and we’re stuck inside. And maybe we can game the free month system that way too.

Loki will have to have a spectacular ending to make the first five episode worthwhile. Did like the gator though.

I grab a free month of hulu every couple of years, but I can't stand the commercials, and they never have anything that I want to watch.

That's an interesting idea, to switch around between subscriptions.
