Mt. Washington Climb to the Clouds 2021
 

Every three years, the Mt. Washington auto road hosts a hill climb. I attended in 2018 when Travis Pastrana set a new record of 5:44. He eclipsed his old record by 16 seconds yesterday. If you've driven the road you know. If you haven't the video doesn't quite show how narrow it is, or the steep fall-off above the tree line if you make a mistake.

loved watching his Red Bull baseball cap bouncing around on the inside of car by shifter base.....

Smoked my MC brakes once on that hill because I was too young and stupid to properly use the gearbox.:o

Where's the wildlife? They are going to have to make a little more interesting next year.

Was that dirt section there last time he set the record?
Amazing driving.

Been up that road many times....a tad off that pace however.

Dang motorcycles closed the mountain the day we were there. I wanted to go up, but only could look at it from the parking lot.
