A desk phone!

It was UNDER my desk but yea. Somebody called. I pulled it top side and naturally I called my wife. It even sounds different. Wild. And that shoulder brace thing is surprisingly effective.

i haven’t had a desk phone in decades. Well that’s not true because I have one now.

HA! I once made my living installing those.

A few years ago I saw a cell phone holder at the convenience store that was a "old fashioned" handset. Would work with that shoulder thing too.

Of course, they didn't have one for the phone I had, I would've grabbed one...

Nothing compares to the clarity of a Western Electric 2500. I can't stand cell phones.

The best part of a desk phone is hanging up in anger. Nothing better than a good handset slamming down. Hanging up a cell phone with a tap of a button on the screen just doesn’t cut it.
