Can we PLEASE keep the PARF crap in PARF? Start a thread over there about what dck Baldwin is if you want.
I go over there when I want to, but I'd prefer not to deal with the bs when I'm not up for it. |
Actually, IMO, this is a huge story because of politics. Baldwin is an azz, but so are lotsa of people in Hollywood. No news there. But this story, because Baldwin is a political azz, it’s a story; it’s a story about hypocrisy, karma, incompetence, irresponsibility and greed.

But yes, it is hysterically funny and sadly true at the same time. |

I completely and actually sympathize with people not wanting to endure political talk all the time and everywhere.
However, in my worthless opinion, political participation, even simple political conversation, is the cost of maintaining a representative republic, especially a constitutional representative republic. It is actually true and is presently being born out that tyranny thrives when good people do nothing. We are where we are because way too many people don’t pay their dues. Democracy costs. If people don’t pay, it dies. |

However, many people ascribe ‘glee’ to someone else’s vindication because it absolves them from accepting a painful reality. |

Here's an old article featuring my buddy Larry who is one of the top Armorers in the business and works with ISS in their weapons room where most prop masters rent their guns.
He explains the intricacies of using older guns, modifying guns and everything in between. THIS is an Armorer. https://bzfilm.com/filmmaking-tips-sources-tools/arms-supplier-tells-how-actors-used-weapons-in-django-unchained/ |

Here is my own Ruger Old Army. First, with the loading mechanism removed, then fully assemble. When loading, one simply pulls down on the long rod that is clipped to the muzzle end of the barrel, pivoting it so that it depresses the lard ram that protrudes through the base of the frame, over the lower chamber in the cylinder. This ram pushes the ball into the front of the cylinder, compressing the powder underneath it. The long rod to the right is the one that is clipped to the barrel, that we grab and pivot to push the ram. The ram is the short fat one hanging down. The cylinder base pin is to the left. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1635351309.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1635351352.jpg One can se that it would also be pretty easy (and safe) to simply look at the front of the cylinder. We can do this without covering ourselves with the muzzle. |
Man, those reporters are asking some stupid questions. And not asking some goods ones that need to be asked.
