Tell me how that wasn't a penalty? Literally every commentator I've read said that this should have been a penalty.

Yeah, that was bad. I was watching it last night and actually wondered if you would see it, Joe. Fehervary went face first into the boards and could have been seriously hurt. The charitable way to look at the non-call was that the play was moving back up the other end of the ice and the refs didn't see it. The less charitable way to see it is...well, it's Sidney Crosby.

But the REAL crime here, of course, is Sid's "mustache:"

It was so blatant that people who didn't watch the game on TV saw it.

Mario Lemieux is so embarrassed by Crosby's behavior he is selling the team!

Have you had any thoughts on resurrecting your old hockey thread from a couple of years back? I foumd it to be an interesting discussion with some thoughtful, civilized perspectives & commentaries proffered by a number of board members on the game we all enjoy.

& OBTW - my "Canuckleheads" are in the toilet....

I for one know that these things happen in hockey. it's a physical and emotional competition. What chaps our azzes is how he always gets away with this crap.

Look at how vigorously the refs are enforcing the slashing rule and yet he gets away with throwing a man into the boards.
