Dear Pelican , please stop !

I have not checked my email for a couple of days, I was blown away to find over 250 messages in my inbox, and that the majority of them were notifications from Pelican that someone had posted in a thread I was active in . I deleted them all yesterday, but lucky me, my inbox is full of them again this morning
I love this place, but would like to know how to de activate this feature . I certainly do not need any more inbox spam .
I do not recall doing anything different to toggle this feature on so I am assuming it is something new in the architecture of the forums
Thank you for any advice in making this go away

I think you can follow this link to see all threads that you're subscribed to and on this page you can also unsubscribe.

From your control panel, select edit options and then make sure this little box tells pelican you don’t want to be notified.

Java nailed it. It's just a setting fix.

Hope things are going well Fred!!

Oh, tell us how you really feel about your interactions with us. :D

I’m leaving my notifications on when you post, Fred.

What, you didn't even read them?

Thanks!, I have probably been subscribed to these threads for years, but somehow turned on e mail notifications . Super annoying
I log in here several times daily , still enjoy the banter, always something to learn . We are doing pretty well, and slowly getting back to somewhat normal .
Wife is at home, and has been released from all therapy. She is still recovering but getting sharper every day .

Create a pelican folder and set up a rule so that the pelican emails go directly to that folder. That’s what I do. It works for me.
