Annuities

Toxic as hell I know.

But an ad for one popped up on a feed today and it got me wondering.

High inflation - so rates will have to go up - and the markets going nowhere. Is it possible to actually do ok with one for a shorter timeframe?

Disclaimer - I don’t want one, I was just pondering if it ever made sense.
