my dog eats cat food only

the can the cat did not finish and dry cat kibble
at 13 she is slower but still active

GSD x chow x lab but small 40lbs

neighbor's daughter wants to give us a full blood pit blue nose 6 weeks
but our cat said no way

Now that I've reduced Moka's daily amount down to 4 cups... I've had to be sneaky & feed her 3 times each day.... I can't say "no" to those big green dawgy eyes that can bore a hole right through ya ;).

1.5 cups early ... around 5:30am.
1.5 cups at dinner time (if you're a southerner)... so 12:30-1:30.... and believe me, I try to delay it... but nope! It's her eyes :D.
Then I'll give her the 4th cup in a few hours .... but she really wants it NOW.

I know how it's "supposed to be" ... but she makes the rules around here and I'm just a sucker.

Seems the total daily amount is most important... not the timing. What say ye?

It’s all just a scam to make the dog love you. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Luke gets 1.5 cups at 5:00 AM and the same amount at 5:00 PM . After each meal he gets two cookies and a Beggin strip . He only gets the treats when he finishes his meals . He is 2.5 years old and about 60 lbs. with good energy level .

We will continue on that path as long as no issues and the vet doesn't have any concerns . It's hard not to spoil them a little 😋
