Do you wear a wedding ring?

I was married in the 90's. I probably wore my wedding ring for a year, and never again. My wife doesn't wear hers either. I'm never worried about it. Do you wear one?

Wore one for ten years until last Thursday when it slipped off boogie boarding with my son in Hawaii. I will be replacing it soon.

no..never have. What? To fend off hopeful females? Never liked the feel of a ring..

Wore one for 10 years but would take it off every time I went to the flight line (to avoid a ring avulsion). I got worried I would lose it with the constant taking it off, putting it on, so I stopped regularly wearing it.

Wife doesn’t mind, she is stuck with me.

Of course, always, it a badge of honour to the excellent woman I’m spending my life with; why?

Never have worn a ring. I've always worried about losing a finger considering all the crap I do. My wife likes wearing hers.

Every day, simple titanium ring. I wear it 24/7 and only take it off when I'm working on cars or sometimes if I'm crabbing (cold water on my hands, ropes moving through my fingers, etc), it is muscle memory for me to take off my watch and ring when I am "suiting up" in my garage grubby clothes.

No, never worn one.

Only on my wedding day, 30 years ago.

I used my grandfather’s ring, who passed away years earlier.

Wife and I were married in 1978 . I wore my ring every day for the first 30 years . After that I started taking it off when doing dirty work . Then started leaving it off because it was more comfortable. When we moved from Florida to Georgia about 13 years ago my wedding ring came up missing. Not sure where it went . Never replaced it. After 44 years together I don't need a symbol to express my love .

Yep, works great for opening beer bottles.

Wore mine (3 different bands) for over 40 years
I managed to get it off over a swollen knuckle after an encounter with a yellow jacket nest. Never wore any of them since.
I think about it from time to time but never bothered to put one on again. Not important.

Best
Les

Never at work or around the house, only for going out.

Exactly why I never wore one. I was flying a ton and we purchased the farm a few years later.

Rings and working on, operating, equipment never meshed for me.

Except for when medical procedures have dictated no jewelry, I have always worn my wedding ring for the last 27.9 years.

asphaltgambler 04-18-2022 05:19 AM

Not at work for either one of us because of our duties, but always otherwise.....

masraum 04-18-2022 05:36 AM

Yep, I wear one, 24x7x365.

Same here. I only take it off at night when I go to bed. It is the only ring I wear. I never understood guys wearing multiple rings.

Always…24/7. Now that my parents are gone I wear the one my mom have to my dad in 1955, complete with engraving. Simple white gold beveled band. Would feel naked without it.

Only one day, our wedding day over 35 years ago. Not even sure where it is, and neither of us care, guess that attitude is why we're still together.
