Well, this is certainly an interesting twist on the usual kit-car concept...

Proving once again that you CAN have too much money.

I cannot see how people drive around in crap like this. I would be too embarrassed to even go for a ride in this thing with the guy that owns it.

It’s a shame that someone wasted an NSX like that.

I have a feeling it was a salvage title at one time.

Yeah, I saw that. That’s a mystery, he had the money to buy the real one, why he had someone make this stupid thing, I’ll never know.

Supposedly, the reserve on this fine piece of crap is $175,000.

So sad they ruined a nice NSX to make that atrocity. I had a 2001 NSX and it was a great car; kept for 6 years and then sold it for more than I paid for it.

Maybe they stuck the NSX body on another car?

I can never fault a guy who pursued his passion and made something he is proud of. I don't have a clue why you would do it, but clearly he had his reasons, and it looks to be very well executed.

More power to him, he clearly has a love for cars and some original thought.

No doubt, somewhere out there is a Fiero that has been violated.

story has been circulating the internet lately. Its just such a weird thing to do which at least makes it interesting.

Id chose an nsx over a diablo 10 times out of 10 though.

You can thank Chrysler for making the Diablo such an abortion.

I have never wanted an NSX but I would take one over that POS.

Still about 50 grand short of his reserve, around a half day to go.

Bid high and bid often.

I am surprised and disappointed in you guys, you didn’t bid on this car, at all. The auction is over, it got nowhere near it’s ridiculous reserve, frankly I’m surprised it got bid as high as it did. These things never look good up close.

$126k.

When I become a multibillionaire, I'll buy up all this sort of stuff so I can euthanize it.

strange that people assume this
was built from a "nice" or "good" NSX
logic tells us it was more likely a crashed
NSX
why is that

for the record an NSX is just
a glorified civic
I've put many miles on one and it was
an under-powered pig that ate rear
tires due to the factory toe-in to
induce understeer
