There was also a death this weekend at the New England Forest Rally (gravel rally). Co-driver Erin Kelly. Really sad when it's amateur enthusiasts just out to have a fun weekend. Rallying is highly dangerous. Trees don't move even when you smack them at 90MPH.

That is very sad news.

Sad looking little WRex, looks like its been cut open by rescuers. Hope that cage was up to snuff.

In developments regarding Targa, it was announced just last week that all Targa events are cancelled, that after 15 months Motorsport Australia has failed to provide a clear direction for the future of such events, and so the organisers will go it alone next year, with or without Motosport Australia sanction.

That will be interesting.
