NBA finals

Anyone interested?
Two great teams involved.
I believe the Warrior combo of playoff experience, treachery, youth and skill will overcome the youth and skill of the Celtics. Will I be proven wrong?

My heart is with Boston but my brain says Warriors. The series goes 6 or 7 games. Ratings and money are the drivers here.

Living in MI...I'm not normally a west coast BB fan.
But having Jordan Poole on the team makes me a Warrior fan.

Who can forget this shot??

It could go either way, but I root for the Warriors, of course, and think they have the edge.

Plus, Draymond went to the other Michigan.

^^^ That almost cancels out the Poole like for me. :D

basketball ranks up there with golf or watching paint dry for excitement.

gregpark 06-16-2022 10:27 PM

Ahh, that was even more satisfying then the last 3

stevej37 06-17-2022 03:45 AM

The way it started...I thought sure there would be a game 7.

GS answered with a huge run. (21-0)
A fun game to watch.

The Celtics were tough and always come back- a lot of respect for that team. They have some major talent and power in there. What usually is the Warriors downfall is what got them this series, though- turnovers.

I don’t think Steve Kerr gets enough credit. When he was out for two games in the Memphis series it really showed. Mike Brown filled in but the team looked lost. Kerr also brought them their unselfish style. He also now has 9 rings!

My brother has a friend who looks just like Steve Kerr, except shorter. It's funnier then hell to see him introduced as Kerr to friends and see the believing, yet something's not quite right look on their faces. It was done to me and it's great.

A lot of talent on the young Celtic team. A few of those kids are going to be great. So why did they get beaten so handily? because they are kids. GS has has veterans who have been there many times before. Just as I predicted in my opening post, old guys rule. It was men playing kids.

If someone ever introduces you to me .... I'll ask for an autograph and tell ya Tom Seaver was my hero!

You can sign it "Lefty" :D

I forgot the game was on.... by the time I tuned in, GS was up by 20....

Curry is one of the best ever at his position, heart of a true champion, and Steve Kerr does not suck ;)

Draymond & Co. came to play....

And Curry is just a class act .... but shoots better than his daddy ever did .... and Dell wasn't too bad either. Good genes :)

In the '90s I got the questions every week or two. I had a co-worker at the time as well - Jim Brown.
