Everyone's got a favorite shirt, right ?
This is mine. I've had it for years. Wear it all summer. It gets a lot of flack though, I can't understand why.
 Even Mona Lisa doesn't seem to like it

Today I am sporting, for the first time, a Sublime T-shirt. Tie-dyed blue. Brings out the fun days in my past. Pretty sure my friends and neighbors are all a little uncomfortable with it.

Well, that is a tough question, on one hand there are the shirts that I had to earn the right to wear, then there are the special event shirts, and of course the special ones that were gifts.
But, there is one style of shirt, that I have continually replaced over the years.          T-shirt wise, I would love another one of these

My fave. Ive had this one for years. Don't know how much more life it has in it. Before it finally falls apart from washing..

This is one of my favorites, although I don't wear it often. It was given to me on my 18th birthday 62 years ago by my H.S. girlfriend.

My three favorite shirts were all lost to hotel stays. Two went to laundry and were never returned and I didn't check before leaving. One I just left in the closet. Really miss them, but they're gone forever and all irreplaceable.

My all time favorite was a tattered family hand me down I wore during college. It was a Charlie Brown sweatshirt with Charlie holding a baseball bat and glove and on the back it read "How can we lose when we're so sincere?"
Funny as I was texting an old friend just the other day that was part of my college days now 40 years ago, and he told me "You're a good man Charlie Brown, sincerely". I texted him back "Ha! Maybe it was the sweat shirt all those years ago!" Last edited by SCadaddle; 08-08-2022 at 11:16 PM.. |
