I drag it through the Accrusharp knife sharpener every couple of wweeks. Yeah, it shortens the life of the knife lots but hey its a 30 dollar knife.

Bought the 3 pack Victorinix this afternoon. Will use it on a Mango later this evening. We will see.

I have had one of those Victorinix for maybe 20 years. Thing is great, keeps and edge ! Use a steel and do not cut on anything but wood boards.

My all time favorite is my 40 plus year old Chicago Cutlery (the American made one with the brass rivets). That thing can be made razor sharp on my Ken Onion. Love that old knife.

Like Tabs, I find those older Chicago Cutlery knives and thrift shops. Easiest knife to bring back to life.

BUT, you will like this Victorinix's all the same.

Cutco big block. I send them in every few years for free sharpening. Actually not quite free when you include shipping and insurance, but … they’ve replaced a few for free that had a nick or two. I picked up a number of them pretty cheap from eBay.
