I see these things as being collectables. A good inflation proof place to park money. And something you can have fun driving around in too LOL

I used to think of them as a bit of an old man's car. Or a guy who wanted one in the 70's or 80's and now has the means to buy one. BUT, I've had teens going nuts over the SC. I think it's the differentness they like. So I think they will be desirable well into the future.

That's right, inflation is a tax on savings.
Hard assets (e.g. real estate) are better to have during inflation.

Last Saturday I participated in a car show in Guthrie, OK. I have several teens and 20 something "kids" loving my 85 911. I heard the same thing, it looks really good, and I let them sit in it, and told them it is air cooled, with a 11 quart oil change, and I pointed out the tracks I have taken it on, and it has 186,000 miles. It was nice to see young dudes, and one chick excited to see it and learn about it.

Lots more 30 and 40 year olds likes it as well. There is hope for the car culture. Of course they were all car folks to even come to a car show.
