Every sunset on the Pacific ocean is different .
Trick is to not look until the last second or the sun will make its own green spot on your eyeball.
60+ miles of visibility to the horizon is the minimum.

Yup, I am directly above the airport and was looking right at you. Had the binoculars out trying to figure out what all the emergency vehicles were doing at the technology park. Saw your boat down there.

if anyone wants to do a virtual Manta ray night dive, fast forward to the 5 minute mark of my video clips here illustrating quite well how it feels to be dive bombed by these VW bus sized beasts.
