March Snowstorm
The large low pressure system going north east is hitting the colder air up here today.
A good portion of MI is set for 6-10 inches of wet, heavy snow. |

^^^ They've got it made.
The good part is that it's only a one day storm |
Interesting, we got more snow last night than we've had to this point all winter.
That was from a small system which came across from the Great Lakes. An hour and a half with the tractor took care of it. Good luck! Les |
Winter storm warning for 7-14 inches from 9pm tonight to 7pm Sat.

4 inches of rain here today. I hate driving in the rain.
|
Sunny and 78 but windy down this way. Pollen is so thick you can shovel it.
|
^^^ No problem with pollen here...thankfully. :D

You're sitting in a good spot for this one...might not get any snow at all. I'm in the half-way zone....looks like 4 or less inches here...Piece of cake.:) |
My older sister lives in S.E. MI and just messaged me. "Snowing snowballs with thundersnow."

Saying "I hate rabbits. I hate rabbits. I hate rabbits." make the smoke blow in the opposite direction. |
I saw a little swarm of gnats yeterday. And a flock of confused geese going north. If I recall it was like this last year too. Mild all winter and then we got dumped on a few times in march. once like 3.5 ft. The cold just blew in it started snowing just now

Remember to stay hydrated and take aspirin before and after....it's heart attack season for geezers.
Small shovels to save the back. |
We didnt get much just a few inches of slush. Yes my geezer dad doesnt know when to stop! We joke his brain is trying to kill his body. The other day he came in soaking wet with sweat and my mom chewed him out for it. This round he stayed inside

Appleton, WI hit with 14 inches of new snow yesterday.
|

All the driveways and our private road are blacktop. The cracks were free and came with a lifetime guarantee. We (I) do the road and most driveways because getting the road dry as possible as soon as possible retards the deterioration that comes with meltage and seepage below grade which freeze again at nighttime. So there actually is good reason to shovel before it melts. |
We got three feet on the second day of spring in the southern cali mountains. Should be skiing till Mayhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1679848948.jpg

At this time of the year, when the sun is out it creates steam on the black-top roads with new snow.
The intensity of the sun increases every day. |
