Easter candy favorites

Stopped at my local Meijer store this am. Can't go down any aisle without seeing chocolate covered bunnies, Peeps, baskets of chocolate goods...all for Easter (a month away)

None of it tempts me, except these....
Love the Cadbury Eggs!:)

mmmm, chocolate. I'm good for just about anything chocolate. I prefer dark over milk or white, but I'm not so picky that I won't eat all three.

I can't remember the last time that I had a Cadbury egg. I don't have a sweet tooth. I've got sweet teeth, all of them. I could eat sweets until I sat around the house. I may not be as thin as you, but I'm within 10-15# of my HS/college weight.

It's the creme filling mixed with the outer milk chocolate that make the Cadbury Eggs so good.

Guys, you can have all the Easter creme eggs you want. I can't stand '3m.
Now a nice milk chocolate Lindt bunny. That's mine, thank you very much.

Did we skip right by St.Patricks day?

Best
Les

From what I've seen in the stores....Yes.
There must be more money in chocolate than green beer.:)

The milk chocolate bunnies are always a disappointment....they are hollow.

The Cadbury Eggs are stuffed full.

Yes, but here in the high NM desert "stale" takes like 4-6 hours. Those 'mallo critters need just a bit of crunch. I do however want to see a creme-egg eating contest. Of course you'd need EMTs at the ready, but it'd be awesome.

How that MI and nearby states love their sugary stuff regardless of the climate confuses me. CO and NM are cool and dry, yet not so much sugar-love in these skinny-ish states.

Now referred to as Mrs mjohnson, Debi was shocked to experience soggy and stale pretzels in MI. I was like "have you ever been east of Denver?".

stevej37 03-14-2023 04:36 PM

^^^ Not a pretzel fan here. My sugar fixes are limited to the Cadbury Eggs and Heath Bars.
I weigh 150..so I have no fear of sugar.

asphaltgambler 03-14-2023 05:03 PM

Jelly beans for sure except the black ones.........bleeaah. Then anything dark chocolate...

^^^ I saw those.
Are they as good as the ones I pic'd?

It looks like there is no creme filling?
