Lord Humungous

Cat dragged this in. The wife has already maternally bonded. I am screwed.

Rabbits are great pets. Can be toilet trained. Who knew...

The cat drug it home and it's still alive? My cat when I was a kid "Tinkerbell" the biggest, blackest Tom you ever saw, the sweetest, most loveable thing would have only showed up with its head. Every day there was a new animal part on the step.

He was a lover by day, stone cold killer at night.

We have two dogs and three cats. I cannot imagine a scenario where the bunny survives in gen pop. Need to find him a home. The big cat routinely brings things inside alive to play with. This one is a little roughed up. But looks like a survivor.

Neighbor dumped some pet rabbits in the woods a few years back. This looks like a descendent. Should be tame-able. Am asking around. Someone has to want one.

FWIW "I've heard" cats think we're bad/poor/ineffectual hunters so that's why they bring us food (or something along those lines).

My cat once brought me a rabbit kit as well. "Oh can we keep it please please?" look. I put it outside. He was bummed for a few days.

Cat we had forever ago brought me a squirrel. Being the redneck I am, cut off the tail and nailed to the garage wall. Few days later he brings me only the back half of the squirrel. Again chop tail and hang on wall. The third through 8th he brought just the tail .... Oscar was a bad ass

Throw some yellow blossom sweet clover seed into your yard in the spring.

Rabbits love it when it blossoms out.

Oddly, a co-worker was telling me yesterday she's adopting a rabbit that was available. Turns out today she's not taking it, as she's away from home a lot and there's two dogs that might hurt it. I think the rabbit needs more interaction and agree with her decision.
