Dry and hot this weekend, low 80s. I am sure its a few degrees hotter then Long Beach. Went out for a bike ride along the foothills with my kid and its dry. Lips are chapped up.

No, LB consistently follows downtown L.A. temps until you get about 10 blocks from the beach. I'm 8 miles from the beach and I use Vernon on my phone for my weather. It's more how it is right here at the 405 and 710.

Well, we had a little summer shower this last weekend. It rained pretty good for maybe 3 hours total, not enough to make it easy to put a shovel in the ground.
But back in the low 80's for now. Supposedly temps will drop into the low to mid 70's until the first of Dec. No rain predicted until first week in Dec for a couple mornings. If El Nino is coming it will be late like Mid Jan on. Cool nights though which I like. |

It didn't rain that much here last weekend, but it did shower pretty good on the plumbers putting in our new main line. Just enough rain to make it messy for them.
It's hot and dry here today. The clock is still an hour ahead, so pay no attention to it.

It's hard to imagine this is trending toward the end of November. We've had some welcome rain, but mostly it's been summer like.

The weather is one of the things that makes Cali so wonderful. I've spent time in the San Jose/San Fran area. I've been in the LA area (Mission Viejo to Oxnard, and maybe even Santa Barbara). And all of those places, at least, when I was there, had fantastic weather, whether it was Jan or Aug, it was just perfect. I've never been to San Diego, but I assume it's not much different from LA. I think I was in Sacramento once, but I don't remember anything about it (don't think I was there long). I don't think I've ever been to any of those towns that you hear about in TV shows that seem to be on 99, Modesto, Fresno, etc.... Cali's got great weather, at least along the coast. Cali's beautiful, at least along the coast.

Seattle just got dumped on by an Atmospheric River of rain.
Flooding with streets closed, so I took my drone for a spin.
