Paging Baz

Baz, I am thinking it has been about two years since you purchased a 250cc motorcycle off Amazon. Correct ?? Anyway how about a review of sad motorscooter please ??

It's doing great, Jack! Starts right up and runs perfectly.

Rims are rusting but more cosmetics than anything else.

Just looked it up, Jack. Purchased January 2021 for $1,469.00 from Amazon.

They are still listing it but price has gone up to $1,690.00.

Awesome Baz. I sold a bike in May and I really dont need one but you never know. Sometimes a guy just needs something for entertainment.

I understand completely, Jack! I have way too many motorcycles and would like to whittle it down to just one at some point. It would simplify things SO much!

Have you considered an e-bike? They are a lot of fun....

I have thought about an e bike. Jury is still out. I should really wait till spring. Cold weather is getting close. May watch FB marketplace for a deal.

Took the Hawk out tonight just before dark, Jack. Sun was setting and lit the entire western sky up. Wish I had taken my camera.

Hawk ran flawlessly and was a lot of fun!

Tomorrow is spa day for all my bikes. ;)

It's the 175 that I like.

Which one is that, Bill?

My Honda XL? Or yours?

The Hawk is so tempting. Perfect bike weather here. Also perfect for racing. Drag strip tomorrow, I think.:D

Yours.

I like mine (XR400R) but it is a bit heavy. Good power to weight ratio though, but it is heavy. I'm thinking of selling it. I think of the Honda 175 (and 185) as a 125 with balls.

I hear ya.

I love how lightweight those 250cc and under bikes are.

My 250 Hawk is very lightweight, BTW.

I also have a Yamaha XT250 but it's currently in hibernation.

My preference is a 250cc over the 175cc - just because of that little extra "scoot factor" - but YMMV.....

Then again a full circle back to the 400cc. The 400 is basically just a 250 with bigger cylinder and only weighs a fewf kg more.
