My daughter got me this picture. It was done by a good friend of hers. She bought it and had it matted and framed for me. I love it ! The artist that made it does a lot of Motorsport paintings. He made a bunch for this event. A year or two ago the Andretti famil commissioned him for some paintings at their big John Andretti memorial. My daughter was assisting the Andretti’s at the event and sat next Colton Herta at the private dinner.

My wife asked what I wanted for Christmas, and I could not think of anything I had not already bought for myself. So he said she would pay for 1/2 the cost of the Porsche driving experience at Barbour motorsport. I bought her a new tree and planting it for her Christmas present. It arrives in mid January.

I got my Mom loving the dinner I made for her and she asking to keep all the leftovers. Best present I've gotten in years.

Jack told me over the holiday he is going to propose to his girlfriend.
My first response was, "Have you asked her father, conveyed your intentions"? "What do you think" was his answer. Best gift of all if you know.

Shaun and Seahawk's post says it best. Family and foundation are the key.
After losing our Granddaughter this year we all knew it was going to be a tough Christmas all around. None of us really thought about gifts. But being able to gather together as a family and remember Gwennie was easily the greatest gift of all.

Best gift was having my kids home for Christmas. My oldest daughter and her new husband live in Virginia. Her Husband is a submariner and got back from an extended deployment on Dec 20th.
He's a good man, although he didn't have a father in his life growing up. He knew the proper thing to do when he wanted to marry my baby girl. I will always appreciate that. Also had my sister and her family here from Michigan. In all we had 22 people and four generations over for Christmas dinner and it was the best gift I could've received. Oh and the 3 prime ribs I made were just ridiculous.....

I found an auction on the Goodwill site for a bunch of toy tractors. I talked my brother into going halvesies on them and we gave them to my twin grandson's for Christmas. They could care less that they were used toys. They will be played with again and again. If they get ruined I won't care knowing full well that they were loved. They really enjoyed them Christmas morning.
My wife found boxes that unfold and have roads on the sides so they have a garage to be stored in too.

A four-wheeled luggage carrier - finally...four wheels! (now if they'd only make one with a seat - and motorize those wheels!)

My best to you guys...very touching posts.
So, yesterday after the last of the kids, friends, relatives and squatters left, there was a stubborn, stopped drain in one of the sinks. I took my Christmas moo-la and decided to buy one of these and see if it worked. I saw an ad and thought, for $3.00 dollars American what could go wrong? ![]() It worked so well it will be a stocking stuffer for everyone next year. Amazing, really.

Had a young tenant who lost a lot of thick long black hair.
-Let a cup of vinegar sit. Run hot water and plunge for 15min. -Dropping and cleaning the p-trap is easy. Use a low bucket in the cabinet and old towels when removing. -You can snake at the wall penetration...and there really should be no complex curves to the main house stack and the curb. -Grinder pumps are available for longer house main runs or uphill. Make it hidden but accessible. -A simple screen insert in every drain prevents most problems.
