I bought a steam locomotive
I think it is fair to say that my toys have now gotten out of control. 2.5" scale, 7.5" gauge locomotive based on a British design. Needs a lot of work, I'm replacing the air brakes currently. I plan to run it at a railroad near Coshocton, OH. My wife thinks I'm daft.

There is a large live steam club a couple miles from our house. They have over 7mile of 7.5" track.
Great group of guys!! Enjoy the journey!! Stay safe, make sure the boiler, etc is tested. gary |

Years ago, I work on a house with a nutty retired owner that was heavily involved with the local steam engine club. They run 'em out of a place call Travel Town, a train museum with about a few miles of tracks. Looks like fun. He has two engines in his garage and is always messing with them.
That thing will keep you out of trouble for a bit |

Once again, I had no idea that that size of steam locomotive existed.
Got rabbit-holed for a minute searching...well done!

I saw a lot of those in England, they always fascinated (and scared) me. My wife spent a lot of time rolling her eyes while I looked at them.

That is so cool! And practical!! Lay down some track and you can mow your lawn with it.

Perhaps I am remembering incorrectly, but didn't you publish a magazine dedicated to steam tractors?
