chewing gum

I just got back from an open house at my kid's school. All is fine but this one female teacher left a negative impression on me. She was chewing like a horse. I think it is somewhat unprofessional. The worst part was, half way in between talking to my wife and I, she got rid of the one in her mouth and popped in a new one. I found that to be a little weird. Any of you chew gum or tobacco for that matter?

She might be on them uppers (meth/cocaine/adderall)….

Could be Nicorette gum?

Maybe she's managing her breath or managing her experience of others' breath.

I had a female roommate (apartment mate) one year in college that was a constant gum chomper ... she played the "ditzy blond" role quite well, and had that Marilyn Monroe thing goin' on ....

It didn't bother me :D

Nicorette is not designed to be chewed continuously. I worked on that drug's registration for awhile. just sayin'

I quit chewing gum about 10 years ago.
Chewing away, I thought I bit down on a rock...spit the gum out and one of my crowns was in it.

The dentist glued it back on.

I seem to have a dry mouth all the time, and chew gum frequently. That said I don’t do it during meetings with certain people.

As a kid I liked bubble gum, but that was a couple of years back. ;)

We had a few regular customers that were big time gum chewers. They looked like a cow chewing their cud. When they talked it was hard to understand with all the chewing. It was gross.

We had a few candy sucking customers. They always had a piece of hard candy like a Jolly Rancher in their mouths. Both types of those customers REEKED of cigarette smoke, or even worse the skunk weed stink. I guess they thought the gun or candy hid the stink. They were very wrong.

I chew gum occasionally. Mainly on road trips but I got this video from driving a Ferrari (gift from wife and I asked her to stop doing it since it's a waste) years ago and it made me realize how bad it looks when you're chewing gum!

Same with me. Haven't had a piece since.

Horses chew gum?

As long as she doesn't chew with her mouth open and you can't see it when she speaks. If you had trouble with her diction then she needs a suggestion.

Heck I buy gum by the 8 pound bags. Order 2-3 times a year.

I hate the way people dispose of gum. I have scraped more gum from under tables, off of sidewalks, off of brick walls, windows counters, and inside walls. I might kill someone if I ever caught them doing it. It's worse than cigarette butts.

I do like a piece every now and then though

They Live is an awesome movie, I need to put that on my to watch list!

The gum that is available in the US is all crap.

When I lived in Japan, they had some amazing gum. No matter how long you chewed it, it stayed soft and even had a good flavor.

I haven't chewed gum in years. Most gum is not very tasty.

I remember them from those Japanese markets. You re correct about it staying soft but they are tiny things so I have to always double up. I have not chew gum in 20-25 years.
