It would have to black for me.
|
same here... black.
|
Leaning that way.
|
Black, red is tough since it goes in and out of style. It's OK when it's use is limited to seats and some trim but when guys go the full monty icluding the door panels and everything else is when it can get garrish.
|
That's the plan
|
You can’t go wrong with either one. I think the red would look real sharp with that grey, black is so plain, maybe use houndstooth or tartan inserts?
|
At this point in time? Stick to the build sheet. Black. If it were the early 70's, I'd say it was your car, modify as you wish.

Red is something you will like for a month or two. Black is forever. PO put lobster red seats in my 86 wanting to do the whole interior. Took all of a week to get them swapped out for black

The 911L has a one year only design.Seats and side panels. |
Black

My 22 Civic has red seats and trim on the doors. I'm used to it now, but I thought it looked a little faded when I bought it new. Then I thought how it would look as bright red and realized the faded was better.
Every time someone gets in to ride, they say "Oh...red seats!" But never a comment that they like them. :) |

I like those inserts shown in black and white. So IDK what color they actually are, but look gray. I like inserts, but I'm not a big fan of the various plaids. I had Stephan's seats (forget his brand) in my 71S and they had corduroy inserts. Very comfy for semi race seats and cool to sit on for a long drive. No AC in that puppy. Yeah, that 911L looks good. |
The seats are solid black. The inserts are black kind of like elephant skin. That's how alot of people describe it.

Id go with red! My mini is gray with red I wouldnt have it any other way. Always had black or gray interiors so I was happy to get some color. If I could choose I would have a color on all colorless cars. Black white or gray car and a colored interior always looks better more classy and happy. Im always thinking of doing my black 911 tan or red but I dont want to fix what isnt broken just making more work for myself.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1710718116.JPG

Maybe these folks could help?
https://www.marinevinylfabric.com/products/animal-printed-vinyl-1 (edit) Note the embossed pattern in their perforated vinyl. Maybe it comes without the holes? https://www.marinevinylfabric.com/products/perforated-holes-marine-vinyl-fabric-flexa Website says they'll send samples.. |
NICE Targa! Funny I have the same Persian rug in my garage (second pic) under my tub......
I think either color would look great, myself. Shrug..... |
I like a red interior but not 100% red. Maybe a mix of black and red?
I had a 69 Mustang fast back that was red exterior and interior. I mean everything on the interior was red. It was too much. |
I generally like black but red would be interesting (and it may make the car easier to sell to the right person).
