John Goodman is a very under-rated actor.
His part in the movie 'Flight' with Denzel was epic.

I keep thinking I should see this movie someday.

It's a masterpiece.

It really is a masterpiece. First time, I thought it was a stoner pic. Second, I thought it clever. Last time or two, damn. It is just solid. There are nuggets of genius sprinkled generously all over the place.

I really think it is worth a multiple watch. Office Space is very similar. The genius grows on you.

It's ALL about the rug. It tied his life together not just the room...metaphorically of course.

It's all about the subtext.

Each character is rooted in their own philosophical frame of reference which directs their motivations and reactions to events; the nihilists being one of the more overt projections.

You're out of your element.

Sorta like Napoleon Dynamite movie, you either love it or don't get it.

Nothing short of brilliant with top actors in their prime

Goodman makes that movie. It's a hoot and I am the furthest thing from a stoner.

I didn't get it the first time. It was the second time I watched it that I picked up on things I missed the first time through. It's a really good movie.

Been a huge fan of their movies since Blood Simple. Big Lebowski doesn’t even make the top five, but it’s got cute catch phrases and everyone knows it. It’s the Sweet Caroline of Coen brothers movies.

Talking Coen Brothers movies, Raising Arizona and Oh Brother Where Art Though are on my top 50 movies of all time. Fargo was fun but it would make the next 50 list.

It is hilarious. But do you have to cuss so much?

Lois' mother passed away recently, mercifully after a long illness. Lois was glad for the relief and had been preparing for some time. So when she left the house to retrieve the ashes, I asked her.....

You guessed it. I asked her if she was bringing a coffee can. :D
