They squeeze some nice power from that 2 liter engine.

Totally true...but the RS3 squeezes 400 hp from its turbo'd 5 cyl--and sounds fantastic while doing it!

OP here, to clarify, I don’t see this in the US. Not at all.

Bad drivers in my area don’t have a marque preference that I have seen. Now the Italians? They are the ones that have a thing for hauling azz in Audis.

Like all Audis - that is by far the best way to own it.
Unless CPO.

Until I got the current hot mess of a domestic SUV the Audi was the least reliable of all the vehicles I’ve owned. We blew an engine on one of the VWs but the rest (probably around 20 over the last 18 years) were fine. The Audi lived in the shop.

Edit - all were under warranty. No 10 year old deferred maintenance deals among them.

Sum*****. I got all of them. lol

There was the time last year when a new A4 wagon was hauling ass behind me in my S4 wagon. It was at night on the freeway, and my car is dark blue and debadged. I pull right to let him pass. He slows then punches it again and again. We get onto the highway and he does the stoplight Gran Prix. I get tired of it, so I punch it off the light and he is left behind. Most likely he heard the V8 as well, and backed way off. We make the same turn off the highway and he's being a good boy. As soon as I turn onto a side street, he punches it again. lol

Same around here, usually run in packs of 2 or 3 in some sort of crazy competition (sometimes you read about them have car to car gunfire).

I drive an Q5...and feel that I don't fit your stereotype.

I think you will find more jerks driving Dodge or BMW products compared to Audis.

That motor looks brand new. My motor has some crinkle paint gone from the intake runners.

What is the shortest distance ever measured?

The distance between your car's rear bumper and the front of the black Audi behind you on the highway , going 85

While bad drivers (of the aggressive/selfish type) can came in any marque, IMO the BMW and Range Rover drivers in LA seem to distinguish themselves the most in this category. Someone pulling off some d-bag move? It is more often than not a car sporting one of those badges. If you ran a statistical analysis, they'd be far over-represented compared to the actual proportion of cars they comprise on the road.

I'm gonna go with black Jeep Wranglers and black crossovers if we're going to pigeon hole.

We had a terrible accident here in Renton last month - 19 year old t-boned a Mom and 5 kids in a minivan while running a red light at over 100mph (in a 40 mph zone..). Three fatal in the van, and two critical. He was driving an A4 that his parents had recently bought for him. THIRD total loss crash for this knothead in 11 months. “It’s not the car…”

Something is wrong there. I hope with 2 prior totals that he goes to death row.

I was driving to work this morning on a 50mph road that goes from 3 lanes to 2. I merged into the middle lane, which became the right lane. Some dark charcoal Audi A6/A8 sedan with a very loud exhaust merged from the left after I was fully established in the lane and would have hit me if I didn't move over to give him room. He was probably going 20-30mph over the flow of traffic. One of the most egregious driving I've ever seen, and I could see him swerving back and forth between lanes after he passed me. 30 minutes later I was following behind him without even trying to catch him. He rolled up his dark tinted passenger front window as he turned off the main road to a small street, probably so I couldn't see his face.
