Yes.

And I have a special mapping app that populates all my leads and customers for me to see how close I am to the next one when I get a no-show or have downtime to kill by checking in with customers.

Hey Rick, are you looking at the Carpuride for your bike or something else. The Carpuride device looks pretty interesting.

No, it's just some cheapo "Motorcycle CarPlay" kit on Amazon. But I need navigation so seldom when on the bike, I'm really putting it off until my next big trip. Though that will likely be from Phoenix to NYC and I kind of know that route. I recently got a nice Ram Mount cradle for my iPhone and I still haven't needed to use it yet. The stuff I use Apple CarPlay for I wouldn't use on the bike - music, Siri, checking emails at red lights, etc. Just navigation.

So you don't listen to music at 200dB on your bike like some folks? LOL

On my last long trip from Phoenix to Evansville, IN, I used my Bose noise-cancelling ear buds for a while. It's very hard to get the helmet on over them without their falling out. And I have an even more snug-fitting helmet now. But they worked pretty well. I really wanted to listen to a conference call for work that lasted about 1.5 hrs., and I was able to ride over 150 miles in that time. I kept my cruise control at 104mph the whole day and had a speaker pad from my radar detector over my right ear.

I thought I was the only one that hated that...

Riders: Loud pipes save lives.

Same Riders: My stereo is so loud I can't hear anything else.

Nice! My commute is ~84 miles each way, so about 75 mins. I go into the office (when I go) very early and leave early, and if there're meetings when I'd normally be driving, I try to move my commute around so I'm not on a call during my commute. But I have 2-3 times used my Bose noise cancelling headphones (in the car) for conference calls in my commute. It works really well, and the ANC is awesome. I can't imagine doing the same on a bike, especially at 100+, but I guess the helmet probably cuts most of the noise out.

Yea, you can use Apple maps, Google maps or Waze or if you own in a Porsche, the Porsche app called Roads. Roads is great to find curvy and scenic routes.

He's not in Europe, and he said that he went 150 miles in 1.5 hours, that's 100mph.

I run with my cruise set at 83mph on my commute. I did once get stuck in a traffic jam for 4 hours. When I finally got out of that, I drove about 15 miles at 100-110 (just to get the kinks out). And one day out of curiosity, I set my cruise at 127mph just to see if it would do it.

I've never done it for that sort of distance, but then I've never driven that far in the middle of no where. I could see under certain circumstances cruising like that in the western US where there's hours of nothing.

When I bought my S1000R, I made it home from Pasadena (350 miles) in a little of over four hrs with several stops for gas. I called Mrs. Lee from the first gas station in AZ at 6pm, said I'd meet her at a restaurant at 7:30. That was 154 miles and I would have made it, but my speed drove my fuel economy into the ground and I had to stop for gas again five miles from the restaurant.

I don't think this has been mentioned in the conversations above about Google maps vs Waze.

From Google:
In June 2013, Waze was acquired by Google for $1.3 billion. Waze's then-100 employees received about $1.2 million on average: the largest payout to employees in Israeli high tech.

I keep thinking about putting an Apple Car Play in my Tundra.
Then I look at my phone in the cradle and think what is the sense when my phone's screen will be in my face anyway?

I love it for modern cars, I can voice dictate texts, I even attended a teams meeting on a long drive, and when Sirius cancelled my favourite channel (RockBar) via satellite, I was able to play it in my Macan through my phone.

Not really interested in my old Cayman though ;)
