We moved to Valparaiso, Florida, in 1975, and my friends and I rode our bicycles to the museum. Back then, it was a very small building and was located just inside the east gate of Eglin.

Wait, aren't you an old dude, internship?

I graduated HS in 11'. I think you're the old duuude ;)

I visited that museum in march when I was in N.O. for a chemie conference. Was really surprise of pacific content. If you ever go to San Diego, my opa donated a lot of his Bataan stuff to the Veterans Museum on Balboa Park.

Yep, the weather was crazy today. We were in Miramar, and at one time, we were under a tornado warning, and everyone went to the bottom floor of the house and hung out in the theater room watching a local news channel.
I was in the laundry room on the 2nd floor of the house and watching the weather from a small fixed window. The cloud to ground lightning was popping just north of us. At one point, the clouds over the gulf were moving west while the clouds to the north were moving east. It was very strange, and the gulf looked like a lake full of white caps.
