A Couple of Nice Drivers.
 

I was going through a section of Auburn today and saw these two "gems" on a car lot called "Eagle Imports". They looked good from the street but on closer inspection, whoa!!!! The VW definitely needs a paint job as the paint was very cracked and chipped in lots of places, bondo, perhaps? The interior and top looked to be in great shape. The wheels and running boards looked like they had been painted with rattle cans, and those tires definitely didn't belong on that car. Someone could do better!!!
The Audi looked super cool but what the heck happened to that right front rim???

Very nice! I see a bug convertible like that at my local CVS all the time, except it is a school bus yellow. Oddly enough, I have diecast model of that exact car. Then the Audi Avant is sweet. My mechanic has had my S4 for a couple months, and I'm just waiting for it to come back.

Regarding the Audi wheel - It looks like somebody fit one of those plastic protector rims to the wheel and scraped it; it's just kinda hanging on there...

I've had two older A6 Avants. Nice cars when maintained and everything is working fine. Real pain the a$$ when it's not...

Umm, decisions...

The Beetle would be very nice to have, and probably my pick.

But. The Audi Vagon would be handy should there be a long hood photo op' happening nearby.

Did you investigate "Byron's Smokehuse"? I can't believe no one has asked yet. :cool:
