BaT Driving Video

I'm selling my first car on Bring a Trailer and am looking for suggestions as to what makes a great driving video. I'll be using an iPhone to shoot the video, if that matters. Thanks!

I've sold cars on BAT and included driving videos with all. I used my phone to shoot which works fine but not with the phone mount. The video turned out too shaky so I had a passenger hold it. Much smoother results including flashing to the instrument panel and shifter every now and then. Also, I would encourage a spirited drive. People like that and I know it really helped increase the bidding on at least a couple cars

For sure have someone else film it while you drive.
I cringe every time I see someone driving one-handed while filming and trying to do two things at once, like keeping the shot 'in frame' while shifting etc..

Buy or borrow a Go-Pro and buy a chest mount off Amazon.

It depends on the vehicle. If it’s something sporty, people want to see you go through the gears and give it some stick. If it’s a luxury car or old American cruiser, they want to see it just go down the road quietly and smoothly with a straight steering wheel, etc.

Have fun with it, so far have make 3 simple Bat videos.

That Westy is the best vehicle ever made when it’s standing still. I’ve had a couple.

Thank you all for your help. I shot a video today and edited it. Came out fine for my first one.

True. I should have mentioned I've sold only sports cars on BAT

When I listed my Unimog Doka on BaT I had a few videos and a lot of photos. It didn't sell on BaT but I did end up selling it later for my listing price of $195k.

No BaT rules against linking that video here before going on the auction site. Might get some pointers for making it 'better'.
