Poor Health Forces Selling Some Things MR Higgins?
As some of you know I turned 79 last month and as such the old age issues are starting to affect me and what I can do. Along with my 3rd bout of cancer which is at bay with an experimental Immunotherapy medicine I get every 3 weeks I am getting starting to get bad shaking in my left hand which has caused me to not be able to do the black powder shooting matches I have been doing for 10 years or so. Sooooo I decided to put several of my muzzle loaders on Gun Broker for sale. They are a mix of ones I built, one made by a past national champion named Roger Johnson and a double-brace (4) cap and ball pistols. The pistols have two with sequencial serial numbers which are a special set. One of the rifles I have shot to 500 yards and can hit a 24 x 24 inch target with tang sights, another is for short matches usually out to 50 yards but can hit easily at 100 yards.
I posted this here as it will get the most views and hopefully the admins will let it stay since I am one of the oldest members still on Pelican Parts and remember how it was when Wayne started all this. John Rogers Last edited by John Rogers; 06-27-2024 at 07:57 PM.. Reason: Add images |

John. Not interested in the guns, but want to wish you the best with your health problems and therapy. I'm aware you've been struggling for a while now.

Just read your ads, you can't include the caps .... individuals can't really ship HAZMAT stuff....

Good lord man, you can't just post pictures like that or you will have Higgins needing a new computer because of the...fluids
Sorry to hear about the time you are spending with the oncology team

Best of luck with your health. What is the grained wood in that long gun thingy? It's beautiful.

Of course I wouldn't include the caps or 209 primers or real black powder. That would be against federal laws I know.....
