The green mint flavored creme filling ones are the best!

I’d be willing to buy a sampler pack of all of the flavors. But I’m not going to buy an entire bag of any of the odd flavors.

My favorite mint chocolate item is Andes Thin Mints. Nothing else has quite the right ratio and chocolate:mint flavor balance.

......And therein lies the beauty of almost everything! So many different ways to enjoy things!

AND, after a bit of thought, I guess I'm in the "pull 'em apart and eat the stuffing first" camp.

Yep ... I "ducked" Oreos looking for all the varieties...

Ya can't twist the cookie apart and split the filling either ... regardless of twist rate or technique .... one side gets it all ... the other nada!

There has been a "study" .... LOL :)

Occasionally one slips through QC that has a faulty filling installation.

I've had them come apart where one side has a small cone shaped (very short and wide) spot of filling and the other side has the mirror image of the cone in the bulk of the filling.

I've also (rarely) had the experience where the filling splits diagonally so that it's about 50/50 on each cookie.

Granted, I haven't pulled them apart in many years, so they may have "fixed the glitch" so that never happens any more.

I have not bought a package of Oreos in my life that I can remember. I have eaten a few. I don't pull them apart, just pop the entire thing in my mouth. I prefer a chocolate chip cookie over an Oreo any day.

They are not as good as they used to be. Taste of filling has changed

The south wanted to twist the Oreo apart... Lincoln was adamant that the Oreo remain a perfect union :D

Outrageos supposition: the cookie part is way better than the stuffing. Double stuff, mega stuff, absurdo stuff or whatever is an assault to good taste.


Also oreo particles when held formed into a composite with ice cream used as the matrix is delightful, sometimes this goes by the trade name "Oreo Blizzard".

Agreed, a spoonful of the filling would not be good. It's only when it's in conjunction with the cookies that it's a good thing. I tried "double stuff" back when they came out (in the 80s) and didn't like them. I also think that the stuffing is or was a bit different when I tried them (a lot of it was that they were whipped full of air, I think).

I don't eat it much, but I do like "cookies and cream" ice cream (vanilla ice cream with oreos or oreo copies in the ice cream). I don't know that I've ever bought it at Dairy queen.

The other day we were on a family vacation with the grandkids. We had vanilla ice cream and oreos. I had a bowl of ice cream and put 3-4 oreos on top, then broke them up with the spoon and stirred the combination up so it was more like soft server. Very tasty! (basically an oreo blizzard).

Double stuffs only. Open the package and let them breath for a few days. They soften up a bit and are fantastic.

I don't claim to be an expert and most certainly am not a fan

I do also enjoy stale oreos, at least if I'm not going to dunk them in milk. If I'm dunking in milk, then I want them fresh.
