Proud of my boy...
 

My son has had a big week... turned 14, got his learner's license, last day of school, we bought a new KTM XC-W 150 for him... but then today, he asked an aquaintence of mine for a job so he could help to pay for his new bike.

He did it all on his own.

He starts Thursday. He will be doing odd jobs in a resto shop that specializes in VERY high end cars.

He now has a cooler job than I do. Lucky kid.

Very lucky kid. Hopefully he appreciates the cars! Best of luck to him.

Oh he does... he is a car guy through and through. When he only knew about 30 words, 3 of them were Porsche, Lamborghini, and Ferarri...

The greatest stroke of good luck in that young man's life was choosing the right parents. Good on all of you.

It aint the kid (well, maybe a little:)), its all your doing.

This. It takes a great role model, and showing how to be a man to have that outcome.

Congratulations dad! He is well on his way to adulthood and success.

I feel sorry for UB .... he's raising two future "stars" and someday they might be winning a championship, standing on a podium, etc. and what wiil they say?

I know it can be messed up for boys these days cause all the hot high school girls go to prom with each other!!! Have you had the "talk" with him yet?
