This was huge 13 years ago with 103 million views on this YT one alone. And it was one of the little things that made it into the new Despicable Me movie, which was fairly clever and very fun to watch, a good rest for your brain and nice way to escape 93ºF and 98% humidity while out and about.

After watching DM4, i feel they did not use any part of that first video as inspiration for the honey badger…


TBH, I thought it was common knowledge of how aggressive honey badgers were. I guess Penny didn’t know, as it’s not taught in schools anymore.

Baz- please either link smaller images or resize them and upload them to Pelican. I believe anything you upload to Pelican is resized to 800 pixels wide. Your last post here was 6,830 pixels wide, which only shows a small portion and adds a slide bar to move across the image. It also shrinks everything else on the page. Super annoying. Example:

That's because the line "honey badger don't care" in Despicable Me 4 went right past you. It went right past you because you never saw the original honey badger YT. You never even heard it.

Idk. I saw both and don’t think the scene aligns remotely to the first video. Coincidence that 3 commons words were said vs the first video.

Open to interpretation. If Gru said, honey badger doesn’t give a ****. Then i would see your pov. I found it more interesting that Penny didn’t know that honey badgers were aggressive. Or that the minions spoke more English…

While it's not the style in the videos above, this one is more accurate. Stoffel is now old and nearly blind but still a tough, smart piece of work. We visited the rascal at the rescue sanctuary in Kruger Park area on one of our trip to SA. Actually go to feed him honey (at a safe distance). Brian has done a remarkable job in trying to keep the ole boy from breaking out. Amazing, fearless creatures.
