Huh? Don't forget we are old AF. From searching discord type apps they appear to be a slicker way to communicate. E.g., Drop in voice or video recordings or chat directly with a member.

If the discord site is about a specific car or group of cars how is that different from a forum?

Facebook is not a philanthropic organization. Creating engagement is expansion of the advertising base.

Hobbies are the only reason i have a facebook so i guess i use both forums and fb. I would say without question the FB crowd is considerably more obnoxious than forum people. Definitely prefer the forum platform.
