Speaking of the Olympics, have y'all seen this Turkish shooter? He's just plain bad ass!

Also, just how loud are these air pistols? I notice every shooter uses hearing protection.

He's wearing ear plugs. Air pistols are quite quiet. At my gun club we have an indoor air pistol range and most don't bother wearing ear muffs.

The hand in pocket thing is about balance. It's a common ISSF stance.

They're wearing hearing protection to drown out the crowd, and eye covering to block the spotlights and camera flashes and such.

Everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that he was on a TEAM competition, that the woman who was his partner is half his age, ALSO shot without much technology in a very relaxed style, and ALSO won a silver medal.

Those two morons know less than nothing about competitive shooting. Even less about Olympic air pistol shooting. Go to any "bullseye" style match here in America, or anywhere else in the world for that matter, and most competitors will be dressed just like Yusef. Oh, some will be wearing blinders on their glasses over their non-shooting eye, some will have diopter lenses in front of their shooting eye, but most will be wearing no more than a pair of shooting glasses and either ear plugs or ear muffs. And whatever shirt and pants they just happened to have on that day. These two idiots are trying to instill some level of hype where it simply does not exist.
