Hope bugstrider is okay
Last I read from him on the cat thread, he was hanging out in Placerville, watching for spot fires, getting ready to flee if needed. Anybody know more?

I don't think any of the fires are near Placerville. Check out The Lookout on YouTube to keep up with the CA fire info.

Yeah, it’s not up there. I just drove through Placerville a couple of weeks ago, thought of him.

My boy and I went up to Tahoe through back roads and drove right through Placerville on hwy 49 just 5 days ago. All was well.

Actually the Crozier-Fire started about 5 miles north of Placerville. Since it is burning North-East as with most fires in the area Placerville is not considered in much risk at this point.
