Interesting. No diesel motor in the lineup?

My take is Caterpillar either has too much money or a bored C-suite, probably both. Who would want to compete with F150s and an extremely crowded market.

Whoever can manage to reintroduce a true small truck like we've not seen produced in 15+ years could make a killing. Unfortunately, I think they basically got legislated out of existence due to how safety testing and vehicle classification is done now...

That I agree with Steve, something the size of a 2001 Tacoma would sell very well because no one is making one.

Isn't that just a rebadged F 150?

Which one of the three completely different trucks pictured did you put a deposit on?

Steve Carlton 09-01-2024 12:14 PM

I couldn’t decide, so I put down three deposits.

The best part is everything fits in one trip. The worst part is parking!

I would think a 793 AC would park wherever the heck it wants to park!

I think there is lots of room for a real pickup trk to be sold.
To check the price of a 3/4 ton or dually, is way out there nowadays

90K for a dually!

It has nothing to do with safety - has to do with fleet fuel economy requirements.
