That is sad news. I love my v1.

Someone play taps. Who's got a bugle?
I have a very old V1, and I have a V1v2 which is even better. When they release an update, I download it to my cell phone and then upgrade the V1 via bluetooth from the phone. |

Seeing that he has his face in most of his ads I wonder if that will change.
|
I have the original V1 and it still works like a charm.
Thanks Mike. RIP |

Hopefully there is a contractual succession plan in place so the company can continue to develope and support product . He seemed like a good guy and obviously smart . RiP

RIP Mike...your product has served me well.

I've got 2 of them - love them
|
Have been using his products since they came out in the 70's under Cincinnati Microwave name. Been using them ever since. He was a great engineer and also a Porsche lover, he had Carrera GT, a Turbo and even a 918, and showed up at car shows and rallies all over the place. Very down to earth guy for all this fortune. Met him one time by accident wandering around a microwave tech show in Miami. RIP Mike.

Did he die without a warning?
|
I had the Escort radar detector, the G-analyst and in 2000 I bought a V1, that I still have.
On the highway now, I go max about 5-8 over, so haven’t used a radar detector in years. |
