I hardly ever drive it during the non dst anyway.

If there was a vote on ditching DST, I would vote NO
I like it the way it is....not that big of a problem to change the clocks twice a year.
Most folks don't want to ditch DST. Most folks (not you other weirdos) want to make it permanent.

Today, we have ~8 mos of DST and ~4 mos of regular time. If we're already at DST 2/3 of the time...

^^^ Those that want it year round most likely live in warmer areas I think.

Staying light later in the winter months here...is not needed.

But how else are you going to get your winter tan?

I don’t really care now that I’m retired, but when I was working, I would have rather had it light in the evening so I could get something done after work.

Wasn't the main reason for not keeping DST longer in the year because of school kids being in the dark mornings at the bus stops?

Living here in South Alaska, it's going to be dark pretty much until March. But on the bright side (no pun intended) we get about 15-16 hours of daylight each day in June and July.

DST doesn't phase me at all. But living at 47 degrees north sure has highs and lows.

It's 67 degrees and starting to get dark at 5:00 on Nov 5

I went biking this afternoon wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
