As a kid growing up I remember the Hai Karate cologne commercials.

I remember various things that were on barbershop counters in the mid 60s but I wouldn’t go near any of it.
I cannot remember what my father wore, but it was the same thing every day, and it was not memorable for any good reason. I would highly doubt that it’s even available today. there are better choices out there, people. |

It was cheap and it smelt OK. In other words good enough. |
I used to splash on Old Spice after shave as a teen. My H.S. girlfriend used some stuff called Jean Natee (sp.?) I caught a whiff of it a couple of decades ago. It still made me feel horny. I actually just saw the comercial this thread ios about this evening.

Calvin Klein's Obsession for Men has always been my fav. They also make a stick deodorant I highly recommend - for those special occasions - not everyday, of course.
And Halston Z-14....good to have both on hand. :) Cue SNL......lol..... <iframe width="596" height="404" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/k9JbEUPh7FQ" title="Compulsion: Cologne - SNL" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

I dislike most foo-foo juice. We had a customer with a 928 that must have bathed in it…smelled like he spilled a whole bottle in the car. Just driving the car into the shop would make your eyes water and then you’d smell like it the rest of the day. No thanks.

Stetson, Polo and Fahrenheit were my go to colognes when I was a young'n.
