we made a pact. no gifts to each other and we put the money towards a world-wind vacation this time next year. (picture OG peking duck for Christmas where they invented the dish)

I got burned last year. We agreed instead of gifts, we'd put the money toward our Hawaii trip last February. Christmas day rolls around, she hauls out the gifts. Nothing big, but here's me, sitting like a dope, nothing in return. Heard about it the rest of the year. I'll probably still hear about it in 2025.

My folks are visiting and we all agreed on no gifts. Mrs. Lee and I need nothing and want no more stuff in the house. So far everyone has complied.

I have been guity over the years of being the dope sitting there and also the one that didn't abide to the agreement.

We needed new recliners for our 5th wheel camper . So my wife and I agreed they would be the gifts to each other this year . Only additional gifts would be stocking stuffers.

We both stuck to the plan and we are both happy . It couldn't have worked out any better . It helps we have been married 46 years and together for 48 .

We have been no gifters for years, until this year. Its easy when you make lists for each other.:D

We agreed and yet I received a case of 9mm and a 80% receiver.
