If you like well recorded jazz and female vocals.....
This is an absolute must buy. Audiophile ear candy. It's a hybrid SACD so you don't need SACD capability to enjoy it.
You can find 'Girl from Ipenema' on some streaming platforms to get a sense of her sound and the recording quality but this particular recording is live and a blast-

Gotta say, loving it so far. There are a bunch of albums being sold on Bezos' site.

Ah didn't realize you could stream via YouTube! Still, the cd is money well spent IMO.
Mas i have two now with one more coming. Ipenema is coming (fantastic version of Smooth Operator on that) and recently got Look of Love. LoL is a bit slower paced and very Diana Krall-ish.

I lived in Japan when I was 13-15, and bought my first stereo and own/owned a bunch of tapes and CDs that I bought in Japan, so it's cool seeing her CDs with the Japanese text, nostalgic for me. I'm really loving this one. ![]() Youtube has TONS of music of all sorts, some is "videos" but a lot is just the music with a static image as the "video" portion. It's cool, because it allows you to explore music that you may want to hear, but not own (maybe old stuff for nostalia). Or explore new artists that you've never heard of.

Ah I've been using Qobuz for that but this woman only has one album there. Finding I stream to find stuff I like then go buy it on cd or vinyl like you're saying.

She is great! I love the 60's "Burt Bacharach/A&M/Dusty Springfield" style music. Always great to find something new to listen to.
I like these guys. Living Cuba is a Florida band that puts out great tunes. I'd hire them for my party!

I really like Melody Gardot. She's a slightly different flavor, but not too far off.
