Experience with A1 auto transport?
My brother-in-law is returning from Italy this month courtesy of the US Navy and moving to Colorado. The problem is that his car(99 Honda CRV) will only go as far as St Louis. I am trying to make arrangements to ship the car the rest of the journey down I70.
Does anyone have any experience with A1 auto Transport? They were by far the cheapest, which fits with the military salary. Thanks in advance. If there are any other suggestions for a transport company I would appreciate those as well.

I actually used A1 last year from Seattle to Boston... not a scratch. When they had the car in transport, I had asked about insurance procedures if it was f'd up (since I always heard of cars getting banged up) and after checking the woman told me not to worry the people driving it across were great and she'd doubt there would be a problem. The fact she knew who it was was reassuring... even with a lowered front air dam, it was still okay.
I'd use them again... but guess it is sort of a crap shoot. Funny, I do remember all the shipping co's being almost exactly the same... odd you found such a disparity |
