Did I just witness hisrory?

Just watched Tony Stewart win his first top fuel race over Ashley Force. This means he's won races at the top level of Indy Car, NASCAR, and NHRA. Sort of a grand slam.

Is he the only one to have done this?

You missed
World of Outlaws race winner
USAC Sprint car championship
Tulsa Chili Bowl dirt midget winner. (Huge national race, past winners include Bell, Larson, Swindel, Boat, Blaney)

He definitely is one hell of a wheelman! I've also heard you'd better be at journeyman pro level to beat him at pool. I'd like to see him & Joe Rogan match up in 9 ball.

Mario Andretti won the Daytona 500 (Nascar), Indy 500 & Formula 1 World championship
He tried forever to get LeMans as well

Congrats to Tony, that's a huge accomplishment

I don’t think AJ Foyt ever drag raced…

Foyt is the only driver to have won the Indianapolis 500, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Daytona 500, and the 24 Hours of Daytona.

I just watched the Gatornationals. I thought he had won the entire race.

He won a round race today. He won rounds last year making a couple top fuel finals, though losing both. 2023 he ran top alcohol dragster. I think he finished 2nd in the season standings.

For the record, Stewart won the 4 Wide National event at Vegas yesterday.

Yes he did.

Tony Stewart after his broken leg was struggling to continue in NASCAR.

Having Ryan Newman replaced at Haas was the final blow.

Stewart leaned on Newman a lot for communication between driver and engineers.

This goes to show how much of NHRA is the team getting the prep right and having a body that can stand up to releasing the kraken at the right moment.
