This is local, see it running around from time to time.

This was just a Honda CRV, but it was obviously owned by someone who couldn't give a "F".

A friend of mine owns the founder of Allison Dune buggies, personal buggy. Fun fact, they also build the big 76 balls used on the spotting towers, this one is at Brumos Collection. I remember when it was at the Brumos Race shop behind the dealership. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1751592400.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1751592400.jpg There is one sitting in a tow yard in Daytona, but sadly not for sale. I have a picture somewhere. A friend of mine’s turbo bar stool, sorry, I couldn’t help myself. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1751592088.jpg A Miata dressed up to look like a early Vette, funny thing is, I was riding with a longtime friend who is a Vette guy. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1751592088.jpg |
Wayne has or had one of those 76 balls, IIRC
Today's find. Fabulous build, great color. I like everything about this except the orings on the Dayton 110's. That's just preference. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1751657806.jpg |

There's a story there......

That 76 ball is 10-12 feet in diameter and a NASCAR official sat in there looking out the window down the back straight at Daytona and Talladega.

My Grandpa had the Pontiac Tempest version of that black Oldsmobile. Interesting car, it had transaxle in the rear, instead of a transmission and a "rope drive" instead of a driveline. His had a V8. I wanted that car. I didn't get it.
That chopped '32 on big 'n littles makes my heart skip a beat. I've always loved trad hotrods. And, hat one's got all the candy. Flathead wit 3 97's, Split wishbone front suspension. Red steelies with dogdish hubcaps. Suede black paint. Suhweet. |
This guy definitely marches to the beat of his own drummer:
