The British Invasion
"British Invasion"...for most it would mean 1964, and the Beatles. But there was another earlier invasion. One that changed the Indy 500. I think it was fitting that the driver of the last front engine roadster to win the Indy 500 was driven by none other than AJ Foyt.

Thanks for posting this. Brings back the good old days when the first TV broadcast was shown at the Santa Monica Civic auditorium. It was great seeing the race live instead of waiting for it to be shown on Wide World of Sports.
