Tub o Towels
Anyone use these to clean factory painted rims? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1745534025.jpg
Any issues with them. Just easier than getting out a bucket and hose. Thanks. |
Are they pre-moistened? (I can't read that label)
I've never seen or used them.. but yes, I hate cleaning the rims. |
I use them all the time to clean dirty, greasy hands. They don’t dry them out, and don’t smell weird. Never used them on rims though. Guess it wouldn’t hurt to try…

I have a tub of them but don't use them as much as I should. I just added some new shelving in my motorcycle service bay and I made sure to put them in a handy location to grab.

They are wonderful and worth every cent IMO. I googled it and said fine for rims. Just figured I get some real life experience here. Thanks.

I use them for cleaning various items. It works well for greasy stains on plastic and various parts of a car.
|
I have used them for cleaning up my mountain bikes. Gets rid of all of the oil flung from a freshly oiled chain.

I bought a tub of them...they work great for cleaning the Fuchs. (mine are color coded white)
I use them and a cotton cloth to wipe the excess off. For the tight area around the lug nuts, I slip an over-size socket over one of the towels and push it on the lug nut and turn it....works perfect. |
