The TT is sort of like gran prix racing in the 50s/60s and earlier. Drivers died almost every weekend. People shrugged and the racing continued until something really horrendous happened like the 55 Le Mans.
I remember reading about the controversy of the TT in Superbike magazine 25 years ago. I doubt attitudes have changed much. |

I haven't watched much motorcycle racing, but after viewing the fastest lap video, I will offer the opinion that motorcycle racers who do the TT make F1 drivers look like a bunch of wimps. :eek:
